Mike started on January 4th 2006 and weighed in at 258 lbs. His goal was to lose around 60 lbs. He is well on his way to his goal. To date he has lost 34 lbs (as of March) his current weigh in is 224. His short term goal for the month of March is to lose 10 lbs for the month.

Mike started his workout by walking 10 minutes on the treadmill and five minutes on the bike. He did this for one week. Then he raised his time on the treadmill to 20 minutes and added 3 sets of ten AB Cruncher to his workout. Mike now does 40 minutes on the treadmill running between 5.3-5.5. He also rides the bike for 10 minutes every other day.

Another factor that he changed was his eating habits. When individuals work "second" and "third" shift it is hard to change when you eat but Mike has done an excellent job to show others it can be done. He has cut out all pop from his diet and has replaced that with lots and lots of water. He has been eating lots of protein and low carbs, he snacks on fruits. He enjoys going to the Golden Corral.

Delton is also member of the month due to the obstacles he has overcome in the last couple years. He is 66 years old and has been coming to Body Works Gym since January 16th, 2006.

In this short time he almost regained his full strength back. He had a stroke in 2004 and a total of 3 seizures since then. Buck comes in four times a week and his usual routine takes about an hour and a half.

He starts with about 15-20 minutes on cardio and an hour on weight training. He has proven that when life throws you a curve, you fight back and get stronger!
