Ryan started at the gym the end of February 2006. Using the "Early Bird" special allowed him to use the gym 2 days one week and 3 on the next. This schedule allowed him to work out only on his days off. After his contract period was up, he was able to switch to a membership plan that allowed him to work out a minimum of 4 to 6 times a week. Ryan started to see physical changes after starting a new work out plan and being able to come in to the gym more often. Justin Baker (owner/personal trainer) started him on a free weight program that allowed his chest to increase at least 1 full inch, his waist, hips and legs have decreased more than an inch. He has increased his lift weight 60% to 80% in the last 6 months alone! All these physical changes were happening but the weight wasn't coming off. Ryan admits he loves his food. The first part of September, Justin gave both he and his wife an eating plan that would help both of them loose weight. Just in 1 week he has lost 4 lbs!!!! His average daily weight was 248 lbs but now his daily average is 244 lbs. The lowest he's been in 2 years !!!! Combining weight training and a good eating plan has Ryan headed in the right direction. Update: As of mid-October, Ryan has lost a total of 11 pounds and has reduced his body fat by 4.5%! |
